One installer finds AutoCAD 2022 – 2027 on your computer and installs the PlotPDFPro ribbon tab, the PlotPDFPro.pc3 plotter configuration and the ready-made paper profiles into each version. AutoCAD applies your scale, CTB and layout settings; PlotPDFPro produces the archivable PDF/A file.
Runs inside AutoCAD. You start the conversion from the drawing open in AutoCAD; DWG and DXF files are not uploaded to the website. The free PlotPDF Viewer is a separate product: it views and signs PDFs and does not convert DWG.
Windows SmartScreen may show an additional verification prompt for newly published applications during early downloads.
The download is for members. Each successful conversion uses 1 credit; a failed conversion uses none.
How it works
Install
Sign in, then download and run PlotPDFPro Setup.exe. Close AutoCAD before installing.
Set up
Open the Plot dialog with Ctrl+P and choose PlotPDFPro.pc3, the paper profile, the CTB file, the plot area and the scale. Press Apply to Layout and close the dialog without pressing OK.
Convert
Click PDF'ye Dönüştür (Convert to PDF) on the PlotPDFPro tab once. The first time, you allow the connection to your account in the browser; the PDF/A file is saved to your Downloads folder.

How do I convert from AutoCAD to PDF?
- 1. Installation
Sign in to the PlotPDFPro website.
Download the AutoCAD add-in and complete the installation.
- 2. Open the drawing
Open the DWG drawing you want to convert to PDF in AutoCAD.
Press Ctrl+P to open the Plot window.
- 3. Select PlotPDFPro
Under Printer/Plotter, select PlotPDFPro.pc3.
- 4. Centre the drawing
Under Plot Offset, select Center the plot.
- 5. Select your CTB settings
Under Plot Style Table, select the CTB file you want to use.
If your office uses a custom CTB, you can continue using your existing standard.
For black-and-white output, choose the CTB settings that produce a black-and-white result.
This preserves line weights and print quality when the PDF is later sent to a physical printer.
- 6. Select a PlotPDFPro paper profile
Under Paper Size, you will see the printable paper profiles created by PlotPDFPro.
Select the profile that matches the drawing's actual output height.
This value represents the paper height used when the drawing is physically printed.
- 7. Select the plot area
Under What to plot, use Window to select the drawing area to convert to PDF.
- 8. Enter the actual output scale
Under Plot Scale, clear Fit to paper.
Then enter the actual output scale, for example 1:50, 1:100, or 1:200.
- 9. Set the quality
Under Shaded Viewport Options, set Quality to Maximum.
Select Apply to Layout to save the settings.
- 10. Start the conversion
On the AutoCAD ribbon, select PlotPDFPro > Convert to PDF once.
On first use, your browser opens. Approve the requested permission to connect your PlotPDFPro account.
- 11. Get your PDF
Return to AutoCAD.
AutoCAD may appear unresponsive briefly during conversion. Do not click again or restart the operation during this time.
Follow conversion progress in the PlotPDFPro window at the bottom right.
When conversion finishes, the PDF is saved automatically to your Downloads folder.
Your files are retained for 7 days
Converted PDF files are retained by PlotPDFPro for 7 days from the conversion date.
No additional credit or fee is charged to download the same PDF again during this period.
The file is deleted automatically at the end of the seventh day.

Paper sizes
With PlotPDFPro.pc3 selected, the Paper Size list holds 12 PlotPDFPro paper profiles: five ISO sheets and seven roll widths. The installer places the same 12 profiles into every version from AutoCAD 2022 to 2027.

PlotPDFPro roll widths
- 309 mm ≤ 90 m
- 450 mm ≤ 90 m
- 620 mm ≤ 90 m
- 764 mm ≤ 90 m
- 914 mm ≤ 90 m
- 1066 mm ≤ 90 m
- 1200 mm ≤ 90 m
Roll profiles are at most 90 m long; the PDF's length follows the drawing's content.
Only these profiles are supported. AutoCAD 2022–2024 may also list ISO full bleed B1; that size is not supported. If an unsupported paper is selected, the add-in stops the conversion without sending the file and without using a credit.

One installer carries a separately built add-in for 2022–2024, 2025–2026 and 2027; AutoCAD loads the one that fits, so you choose nothing.
DWG/DXF → PDF/A-2b
The DWG or DXF drawing open in AutoCAD is converted as vectors into an archivable PDF/A-2b file.
Convert from inside AutoCAD
Click the PDF'ye Dönüştür (Convert to PDF) button on the PlotPDFPro tab once. Follow the progress in the PlotPDFPro window at the bottom right; the PDF is saved to your Downloads folder.
True drawing scale
The scale you enter in the Plot dialog (for example 1:50 or 1:100) is kept in the PDF; the drawing is not rescaled to fit the page.
CTB, layout and plot settings
The conversion uses the plot settings you applied to the active layout: the CTB/STB plot style, lineweights, paper profile and plot area (Window or Layout) are applied by AutoCAD.
A0–A4 and rolls up to 90 m
The ISO A0–A4 standard sheets and seven PlotPDFPro roll widths; roll drawings can be up to 90 metres long.
Turkish and English interface
The progress window, the error messages and the PlotPDFPro sign-in page show their information in Turkish and English.
Installation
The only thing you need to do during installation is grant administrator permission. You do not have to choose a version, point to a path or copy files.
- AutoCAD versions are detected — Setup automatically finds the supported AutoCAD versions on your computer.
- The add-in is installed — The matching PlotPDFPro add-in is installed automatically for each supported AutoCAD version.
- The ribbon is registered — The PlotPDFPro tab and the PLOTPDFPRO command are registered with AutoCAD.
- PlotPDFPro.pc3 is placed — The ready-made PlotPDFPro plotter configuration is added to the supported AutoCAD versions.
- The installation is verified — Setup checks that the required add-in and configuration files are in place.
- Done — The last step offers to start AutoCAD; if you tick it, the newest AutoCAD on the computer opens.
If 1.0.0 is installed you do not need to remove it first: the 1.1.0 installer upgrades the existing add-in in place, and Installed apps keeps a single entry.
Compatibility
Supported versions: AutoCAD 2022 – 2027. The single installer prepares the right add-in automatically; you do not have to choose a version.

Several supported AutoCAD versions can be on the same computer; one installation covers them all.

Frequently asked questions
Which AutoCAD versions does the add-in work with?
All versions from AutoCAD 2022 to 2027. The ribbon add-in and the PlotPDFPro.pc3 plotter configuration are installed into every version found in that range. AutoCAD 2021 and earlier are not supported.
How can one installer cover different AutoCAD generations?
The installer contains a separately built add-in for each AutoCAD generation: AutoCAD 2022–2024, 2025–2026 and 2027. AutoCAD decides itself which build to load. You do not have to choose.
What happens if there are several AutoCAD versions on one computer?
Setup finds all of them; each one gets PlotPDFPro.pc3 and the ribbon add-in that matches its version. One installation is enough.
What happens if setup cannot find AutoCAD?
Setup completes and keeps the files. When you install AutoCAD later, run the "PlotPDFPro Onar" (repair) shortcut in the Start menu; you do not need the installer again.
If I edit my PlotPDFPro.pc3, is it deleted when I uninstall?
No. Uninstalling deletes only a file that is identical to the certified version. A configuration you have edited is your work and is left in place.
Does the add-in send my drawing to the cloud?
The drawing data needed for the PDF conversion is transferred to the PlotPDFPro service. Account and credit information is also used as part of this conversion workflow.
Do I have to uninstall before updating?
No. Just run the new version; it upgrades the existing installation in place.
Can I upload my DWG or DXF file to the website?
No. DWG and DXF are converted only from inside AutoCAD, with this add-in; the website's upload area does not accept DWG or DXF.
I see another size in the paper list. Can I use it?
Only the five ISO sheets (A0–A4) and the seven PlotPDFPro roll widths are supported. The ISO full bleed B1 that AutoCAD 2022–2024 may list is not supported; if it is selected, the add-in stops the conversion without sending the file and without using a credit.
Does a failed conversion use a credit?
No. A credit is used only by a conversion that completes successfully; each successful conversion is 1 credit.
Are the AutoCAD add-in and PlotPDF Viewer the same product?
No. The AutoCAD add-in converts DWG and DXF drawings to PDF/A-2b from inside AutoCAD and uses credits. PlotPDF Viewer is a free, separate Windows application that views and signs PDF, PDF/A and TIFF files; it does not convert DWG.
