PlotPDF Viewer 1.2.0 opens long roll PDF and PDF/A drawings fast, saves PDF/A copies, views TIFF files and adds a visible electronic signature to PDF/A documents with the certificate on your e-signature token or in the Windows certificate store.
Your files stay on your computer. PlotPDF Viewer does not upload the PDF and TIFF files you open to PlotPDFPro servers. Electronic signing happens on your computer; the document, certificate, private key and PIN are not sent to us. The only feature that uses the internet is the update check, which you can switch off. What it does
PDF viewing and printing
- Opens long roll PDF and PDF/A drawings fast; the whole roll at a glance
- Smooth zoom and pan, view rotation and crop
- Measurement tool and drawing scale; dark / light mode
- True-scale printing
PDF/A
- Save As PDF/A-2b, optimized PDF/A and cropped PDF/A; the opened file is never overwritten
- Files that are not suitable for PDF/A are refused, with the reason
- An e-signed PDF is checked for PDF/A-2b conformance with the built-in validator before it is kept
TIFF
- Open TIFF / TIF files: fit page, fit width, 100 %, zoom, pan and page navigation for multi-page files
- Fast zoom for long 1-bit LZW scans; other supported TIFF types open through the Windows imaging components (WIC)
- Rotate, crop, TIFF information, printing and Save As TIFF 6.0 (LZW / ZIP, up to 200 DPI)
- The TIFF tools are currently labelled in Turkish only
Electronic signature
- Certificate selection: the certificate on your e-signature token or in the Windows certificate store
- Smart card / USB token: supported tokens whose maker's PKCS#11 driver is installed. The Viewer installs no driver; not every token or driver is supported, and the compatibility window lists what is on your PC.
- Place and size the visible signature on the page; the stamp in PlotPDFPro red with a fountain-pen mark scales with its box
- Multiple signatures: documents that already carry approval signatures can be signed again; earlier signatures and document integrity are checked, and the Signatures window lists the signatures in a document
- A new PDF is always written; the opened document is never changed
- Signing happens on your computer; the PIN goes only to the token driver and is not saved. No trusted timestamp is added, certificate revocation is not checked online and legal validity is not assessed by the Viewer.
Updates
- The Updates window checks for a newer version: automatically at most once a day (can be switched off) or with "Check now"
- The new Setup is downloaded in your browser with your member sign-in; before installing, the Viewer verifies its size, SHA-256, publisher signature and version, and never offers an older version
Windows SmartScreen may show an additional verification prompt for newly published applications during early downloads.
